Members Absent: Brian Boyer - (The CIP is a 5 person committee but only 3 people have volunteered and have been appointed)
This September 7, 2011 meeting of the 2011 CIP Committee began at approximately 7:00 PM at the Chichester Town Hall. Matt & Richard briefly reviewed this years the first of several anticipated iterations of attempting to balance the CIP costs over each of the ten years in the report period & to keep each years cost near the historical spending level. Matt will also develop an alternative spreadsheet that uses all of the submittals, adjusts for available Capital Reserve Funds available then spreads the total amount over the 10 years in the study period. This analysis will be compared to the annual amounts derived by moving some submittals out of the 10 year study period.
We will ask Nancy for info about the Special Revenue Account associated with the Ambulance User Fees to determine whether sufficient funds are available to help fund the $287k Rescue Vehicle # 1 in 2015 and also the $269k Ambulance in 2020.
Matt will post notices for the next CIP meeting Friday afternoon at 1:00 at the Chichester Fire Station. Matt & Brian are expected to attend that meeting, Richard has work commitments.
